Thursday has always been the established racing day by RRC. It has been host to many different kind of championships. Even if there already was a season of the same championship you can make sure that the rules are always different, be it tyre rules, refuelling rules, multiplication factors, points table, etc.
A selection of past championships can be found below.
A championship where similar rules apply like in the Gran Turismo Manufacturers Cup. The participating drivers have to choose two cars of a manufacturer that is represented in Gr.3 and Gr.4. There will be Gr.4 races and Gr.3 races in alternation. The races are with the GT BoP and tuning is not allowed. If a driver changes the car or manufacturer, he will lose all points that he acquired.
A championship where the participating drivers have to choose one car out of the group with which they will compete the whole season with. The championship will be hold with activated BoP. As the name says, the drivers are allowed to tune the car to their liking. If a driver changes the car or manufacturer, he will lose all points that he acquired.
A monotype championship where there is only one car allowed throughout the championship. There already were some Mighty Mini Cups, Roadster Touring Car Championships and Renault Clio Cup. The rules alter with every new season.
There are also team championships where a defined number of drivers form a team and try to finish the championship highest. Here, the individual results won't count and only the team championship is important. The number of members in a team can be from 2 to 5, depending on the championship.
Championships and events where there are special stipulations (combined F3 & F40 championship with two entirely different rulesets) or races at only one location (Sardegna Cup, Tokyo Cup). Expect more such events to follow.
The possibilities and ideas are endless. Currently, the Slow Car Championship is running where there are monotype races with the slowest cars of the game. There also was a BTCC championship with crazy qualifying and weight ballast rules. You will never get bored in these races.
